Introductory Sessions: About

FA Weetabix Wildcats

Starting on May 15th, the Aztecs will deliver futsal based Wildcats sessions for girls aged 5-11 at Testlands Wellbeing Hub.

Where? Testlands Wellbeing Hub, Green Lane, Southampton, SO16 9FQ

When? Monday evenings, from 18:00 - 19:00, starting on May 15th and going all the way through until August.

What? Futsal sessions for girls. Futsal is an indoor version of 5v5 football, invented in South America, played all over the world, and credited by my of the world's best players as being fundamental in their development of football. Unlike typical English five-a-side, there are no walls to play the ball off of.

How much? It's £3 per session, and it is pay as you go. We're limited to thirty places per session, so make sure to book in advance to secure your place! You register via the FA website here. All sessions can be booked via that link. If you can't make some places, that's okay. Come to what you can!

What do we bring? Football shirt, shorts, long football socks, shinpads, and indoor shoes. Trainers are good, astroturfs are fine, but studded football boots are not allowed because we play on a hard, flat indoor surface. There are futsal specific shoes which can be purchased, if you'd like to buy some.

“Futsal is an excellent way for children to develop their skills and understanding of the game. My technique and my dribbling skills are from playing futsal.”
