The Aztecs have strengthened over the summer, and are preparing for a competitive campaign ahead.

Joining from Hartpury, England pivot Jade Grove moves to Southampton, greatly increasing our firepower. Jade has been very difficult to stop over the past four seasons. Thankfully, we don't have to deal with that anymore, as she'll be banging the goals in for us.

NFS top scorer in 22/23 and 23/24, in addition to being NFS player of the season 22/23, Jade found the net fifty-five times in thirty-four appearances over the last two NFS seasons. We know many of them were against the Aztecs, and there are too many to go back and choose from. Jade also has three England caps to her name, being part of the first ever England women's futsal team, competing against Moldova, Slovenia, and Finland in World Cup qualifying.
Is this Jade Grove's best ever goal against us?

Another Lioness joining the Aztecs is Lucy Scholes. Lucy was selected for the team to compete at the World Deaf Futsal Championship, hosted in Italy in June. England made it to the quarter-finals, before being eliminated by Ireland. Following the play-off games, England finished in fifth place overall.
Lucy has already blended in well with the squad, showing a willingness to learn and to compete.
Following Lucy is Georgia Scholes. Both have impressed in the recent friendly win over Dorset. Georgia has demonstrated versatility, being solid in defence, composed in possession, and also having an eye for goal, as demonstrated by this goal against Dorset.
Youngsters Brooklynne Andrew and Emily Hartley are now eligible for senior futsal, and have already been showing their stuff on the court. Brooklynne scored a brace against Dorset, while Emily created lots of chances.
The teenagers are joined by Ruby Parsons and Pyrena Heath, adding lots of skill and energy to an already strong squad.

The final player to be announced in this article is Kira Vallely. Kira Joins the Aztecs after playing with Aztecs teammates at Portsmouth and Moneyfields. A footballer that is very much suited to futsal, Kira has shown her skill and intelligence on the court this summer.
Kira found the net for the Aztecs for the first time against Maidenhead United at the Aztecs Summer Cup. We're certain we'll see many more from Kira and the rest of the new girls throughout the upcoming season.
We hope you're as excited as we are to see what these girls can do this season!
