18th February 2023: The early start turns into a bad start.

Divina Alo Ilolo back on the court for the first time in a year after surgery. Elizabeth Stanley with her last Aztecs performance for the foreseeable future as she heads back out to sea.

Bedford raced to a three goal lead, before the Aztecs responded. Becky Haigh-McLelland with her first goal for the club, assisted by Mo Delaney on the fly. Southampton tried to mount a comeback, coming close when Rebecca Moody hit the bar on the volley. Bedford continued their assault on the Aztecs goal in the second half. Hannah Walker added a consolation, but the Aztecs were well beaten. Lots of hope for the future with our young players, and still much to learn.

Alicia Povey earned player of the match, scoring a brace.
